50th Symposium on Theoretical Chemistry 2014

Quantum Chemistry and Chemical Dynamics

The Symposium on Theoretical Chemistry celebrates its 50th anniversary in Vienna, Austria, from the 14th to the 18th of September 2014. This annual meeting brings together scientists from all areas of Theoretical Chemistry. It will include plenary lectures, contributed talks and poster presentations, which will be held at the city campus of the University of Vienna.

The invited speakers of this edition are selected to feature the topic “Quantum Chemistry and Chemical Dynamics”, spanning from the development of methods to applications in any of these fields or the combination of both, also for excited states and light-induced processes. The oral contributions and posters will cover all areas of Theoretical Chemistry. Additionally, two historical lectures will highlight the development of Theoretical Chemistry in the last 50 years within the German speaking countries and the history of Chemistry starting 3000 years ago.
